Heyhey! Happy August! August has always been one of my favourite months – in the UK, it’s the only month where there’s absolutely no school whatsoever, so as a kid that was always the reason. Even now, it still feels like August is the height of summer, and it’s nice to know there’s a few more weeks of summer left before the weather starts to turn.

I’ve been super busy this month, with lots of recipes on the go, both for Amuse Your Bouche and elsewhere. It’s always good busy though! I love having lots of work on – it definitely beats the alternative.

Before I move on to July’s recipes, I thought I’d share this quick snap of me and Pip, since people are always telling me off for not sharing enough cute dog photos. We were playing around with my camera and trying to figure out how to focus it for videos (turns out you need to use the remote control on two different settings, very confusing). I don’t have any particular plans to share videos here – I was mostly just playing around out of curiosity – but let me know if you’re into video and I can always experiment a bit more. If you think Pip’s cute on camera, she’s even cuter in videos.
