Melted chocolate snowmen - easy, adorable, and a great way to get kids into the kitchen!

Just a quick one for you today I'm afraid - a quick blog post, but also a quick and easy recipe - melted chocolate snowmen! The perfect Christmas dessert, and the cutest little things I've made in ages. If you have kids, these would be the perfect way to get them involved in the kitchen this winter - and if you don't have kids, you can make them anyway, and then lick the spoon without anyone else to compete with.

I made these melted chocolate snowmen for the Wayfair blog, so you can find the full tutorial over there, but they're pretty easy to figure out anyway! Each snowman is made from a puddle of melted white chocolate, topped with half a marshmallow (make sure you use vegetarian ones if you need to!), and decorated to look like a melted snowman.

My favourite thing about this recipe: the worse your decorating skills are, the better and more tragic your melted snowmen will look. It might even be worth having a glass of wine or two before decorating...

Anyway, that's your lot before Christmas! I'm taking a few days off to eat lots of chocolate, drink lots of wine, and most importantly, relaaaaax. See you after Christmas! Have a great one if you're celebrating!

Had to try it. Unfortunately no dark brown tubes so I had to melt dark chocolate to. Fun and easy. Got 13 bigger and smaller snowmrn. Very cute!

Considering my artistic flair consists of a stick man at best, this is so simple yet brilliant and will give me something creative to do with the kids without them catching on that I lack design skills!

Haha I'm with you - that was secretly my reason for making these, they look like they require so much more artistic flair than they do ;)

Aw these look amazing! So creative but easy enough for anyone to make.

Veggie marshmallows are something I have been meaning to try for such a long time - which ones did you use here? :)

To be honest I just used normal ones here - I sometimes let things like marshmallows slide (I know, terrible veggie). These ones look worth a try though!

Ah fair enough! I've spotted the Freedom ones before but that is probably the best price I've seen them at so thanks for the tip :) Merry Christmas! x
