White bean and pesto burgers (Amuse Your Bouche and Marley Spoon!)
I have something a bit different for you today – there’s no recipe in this post, but there is something even more exciting!
I’ve teamed up with Marley Spoon to bring one of my recipes right to your doorstep (literally!). For those of you who don’t know, Marley Spoon is a recipe delivery service – they deliver recipe cards, along with all the ingredients you need to make the recipe, right to your house. It’s the perfect solution for people who like to get creative in the kitchen and cook healthy meals from scratch, but who don’t have the time (or inclination) to spend hours meal planning or slogging round a supermarket.
For this week only (until Sunday 3rd May), you can have the recipe for these white bean and pesto burgers, and the asparagus and new potato salad that I served them with, and all the ingredients you need, delivered direct to your door!
I’ve ordered some meals from Marley Spoon before and let me tell you: the meals are wonderful, the instructions are easy to follow, and the portions are really (really!) generous.
Of course, this time the recipe and instructions will be my own, so I’ll let you be the judge…
To order your white bean and pesto burger kit, just check out the Marley Spoon website. There are a couple of other vegetarian dishes available this week too (as well as meat and fish options), so why not try them all and avoid the supermarket all week.
To help you out this week, you can even get £25 off your first Marley Spoon order by using the code MarleySpooning – I’m literally giving you free money here!! You’d be mad not to give it a go.
If you’re still not convinced, let me tell you a little bit about the recipe. The white bean and pesto burgers are super satisfying, and come with a ciabatta bun and fresh tomato. Of course, you can also add whatever else you have in your cupboards that you fancy – I recommend a generous slathering of mayonnaise!
The white bean burgers also come alongside a new potato and asparagus salad with a beautifully fresh lemony dressing. It’s really seasonal – watercress, asparagus and new potatoes are all amazing at this time of year – so you know you’re getting the freshest ingredients possible.
And again: they come right to your door. Keep your PJs on for all I care (in fact I would recommend it).
You can see exactly what you’ll receive over at the Marley Spoon website, and what you’re expected to already have in the cupboards (just simple things like flour and olive oil).
Fantastic! How about linking it in to Food on Friday over at Carole’s Chatter. Cheers
What a cool opportunity for you! There’s a few similar services over here in the States, like Blue Apron. I’ve seen that featured on a bunch of blogs, but never the bloggers’ own recipes! So neat!
And now I just might try throwing together some white bean pesto burgers of my own :)
Oh nice Becca. I remember hearing from them at the start of the year and then forgot all about them. Love the look of your spinach and feta chickpea burgers.
They look tasty, although I’m not vegetarian I love a good bean burger.
lovely idea – and what a nice way for people to taste your recipe ideas!
This is such a wonderful partnership! Congratulations Becca! I will check them out now. Your recipe looks delicious.
Thanks Helene :)
This is my kind of sandwich! Beautiful photography and flavors. I can’t wait to try this.
Aw thanks for the comment about my photography Florian, always trying to improve! :)
