Sour cream and onion dip with feta

I am dreading the day when my body finally gives up due to dairy overload and tells me that I can't have it any more. This dip is pretty much pure dairy... and I love it. It's basically a normal sour cream and onion dip, but with added feta to make it even more wonderful. Because how else can you make dairy better, other than adding more dairy?

Would you believe me if I said I don't actually like milk? I know, it's absolutely ridiculous considering my love for cheese. I can have a small amount of milk on cereal, but that's about it. I think it's gross on its own. The thought of sitting there drinking a whole glass of it makes me gag. Yet somehow, curdle it a little (which, now that I think about it, sounds horrendous) into cheese, and I'm allllll for it. Go figure. But whether you like milk or not, if you're as much of a cheese fan as I am, you should give this dip a go. Don't be put off by the raw onion - somehow the sour cream neutralises the flavour a bit, so you don't get that strong, raw flavour. You're just left with a mild tang, which cuts perfectly through the rich creaminess.

If you follow me on Facebook, you'll have seen that I'm going away this weekend. For some ridiculous reason, we're planning a wedding 200 miles away from where we actually live, back in our home town.

This means that we have to drive up and down the country what seems like every weekend (um, it's actually only been twice so far, but I'm sure there will be many more trips to come). So if I'm not around for a few days, I apologise in advance! I will almost certainly be doing very boring jobs such as writing lists and budgets, which I secretly completely love. There's nothing like a spreadsheet to make me happy (bit weird?).

I'd looove this but sadly I would have to sub things in for non-dairy... I am pretty sure I'll discover I'm lactose intolerant, as my tummy gets pissed at me if I so much as glance at a glass of milk for too long.

I used to be able to eat a whole tub of onion dip by myself when I was a kid. I guess that's not exactly something to be proud of? :) This definitely looks better than the kind you buy at the store!

OMG yes!!!! this is amazing! i love onion dip, adding feta? pure genius, i need this in my mouth right now. I also actually HATE milk. I think its really gross, and if i drink too much milk on its own i'll get sick. but i love sour cream, yogurt, ice cream, and of course all kinds of cheese!
